Sports Funding

We have been allocated £16,241 September 2017 to August 2018 by the Department for Education to develop and enhance the quality of PE delivered to all learners.

The funding will be used to develop the following areas which will have a positive impact on student’s physical development:

Inter Schools Sports Events Development of skills in a competitive environment.

Team skills and development.

Levels of student engagement and motivation.

Develop Early Years, KS1 and KS2 outdoor learning environments. Increase physical activity levels.

To develop play, social and communication skills through physical activity and games.

Increased level of physical activity.

Pupils attainment.

 

Enrichment Activities To take part in adventurous activities.

Team skills and development.

Levels of student engagement and motivation.

Increased level of physical activity.

KS2 swimming sessions. Increased physical activity levels.

Development of water based skills.

Student’s engagement and levels of progress.
Quality of equipment. To ensure high quality PE. Increased levels of physical activity.

Pupil attainment.

The impact of the funding will help develop student’s social, cognitive and physical development. Progress will be measured using BSquared and CASPA data assessment.
